Refund policy

Thank you for choosing Bang Diep for your fine jewelry needs. All orders made through our online store are considered custom orders, made as requested by the Client (you). Please carefully review our return and exchange policy to ensure a smooth process.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  • Non-customized items in unworn, unaltered condition, and in their original packaging, may be eligible for store credit or exchange within 10 days of receipt.
  • All returns and exchanges must be pre-approved by our team. To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at info@bangdiep.com with your intent and reasons.
  • For approved returns, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless we sent an incorrect or defective item.
  • Items returned without prior approval or sent outside of the 10-day period will not be accepted.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Custom Orders: Any custom-made or personalized jewelry, including engraved pieces, custom-designed rings, and special or limited-release items, are strictly non-refundable.
  • Resized Items: Any item that has been resized, whether at our store or elsewhere, is non-returnable. This includes rings, bracelets, and other jewelry that has been altered to fit a different size.
  • Altered or Modified Items: Jewelry that has been repaired, modified, or altered in any way from its original state is not eligible for return or exchange. This includes items where gemstones have been replaced or settings have been altered.
  • Worn or Damaged Items: Items showing signs of wear, damage, or scratches will not be accepted for return or exchange. All jewelry must be returned in its original packaging and in new, unworn condition.
  • Final Sale & Limited Edition Items: Sale items, clearance items, and any jewelry that is labeled as final sale or part of a limited edition release are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Custom Sourced Gemstones or Diamonds: Jewelry featuring gemstones or diamonds that have been specifically sourced or curated for your design—such as large center stones—cannot be returned or refunded once the stone has been selected, set, or once the design process has commenced.
  • Gift Cards: All gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

Custom Orders

  • All Bang Diep custom pieces are handcrafted to your specifications and involve highly skilled craftsmanship and labor. As such, we cannot issue refunds for changes of mind on custom orders. This includes engagement rings or jewelry featuring large center stones that were personally sourced or curated for your piece.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If your order arrives damaged or defective, notify us immediately at info@bangdiep.com. We are committed to resolving such issues promptly.
  • Once the damaged or defective item is received and inspected by our team, we will issue a replacement or store credit.

Shipping Costs and Fees

  • Shipping costs for returns and exchanges are non-refundable. Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless we sent an incorrect or defective item.
  • For international orders, buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees.
  • If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund total.

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at info@bangdiep.com with your intent and reason for return.
  2. Upon approval, we will provide you with a return shipping label.
  3. Package the item securely with all original packaging and ship it to:

  • Please allow up to 10 business days after we receive the returned item for your return or exchange to be processed.

In-Store Returns and Exchanges

  • Clients local to our San Diego showroom can visit us for returns and exchange requests. Please bring proof of purchase during business hours, and our team will assist you with your return. Note that the same return policy criteria apply to in-store purchases as they do for online transactions.

Merchandise Credit and Refunds

  • Refunds are issued as merchandise credit and will be applied within 10 business days of the approved return.
  • Credit card refunds and cash refunds are not available.
